Introduction to ASL

Beginners Course

Introduction to ASL is an hour-long, weekly foundational class for beginners. It’s also a precursor to ASL level 1. Students will learn cultural awareness tips, basic ASL handshapes, and how to exchange information in a culturally appropriate way. This class offers some basic expressive and receptive skills for communicating in ASL.


Appropriate signing structure will be emphasized. This class is taught in ASL and a sign language interpreter will not be provided.

Total Course Fee: $175pp

American Sign Language

Levels 1 or 2 – Group Courses 


ASL level 1 and 2 group classes are 10 weeks each. Students begin with basic vocabulary and grammar as well as expressive and receptive skills. As students’ progress through each level, they will expand their vocabulary and build fluency in body movements and facial expressions.


Classes are 1.5 hours long and include homework each week. This class is taught in ASL and a sign language interpreter will not be provided.


Total Course Fee: $410pp per Session (Group Rate Available)

  • Certificate of Training

  • Class for Less Than 5 People Will Cost $1,845

American Sign Language
